“ I'm obsessed with this place. Definitely the best lunch special in the area! Out of all the sushi spot lunch specials, Shiki Hana is the best priced and pretty great quality. The only thing I've found is that sometimes the rice in some of the rolls seems almost too fresh or something because the rice sticks to other pieces of sushi which causes it to break apart. Not a real big issue though! And the miso soup is so so so warm and delicious as always ”

“ There were three of us for sushi dinner and the food was delicious! We ordered 4 rolls - tiger, spider, hulk and wasabi salmon - each was equally fresh, flavorful and bright tasting. The staff was attentive and helpful and our server really seemed to enjoy her job. I can't wait to go back. ”

“ I have gotten take out multiple times now and everything has been fresh and delicious. My favorite is the mushroom miso soup. It has a slightly mild earthy flavor from the several different kinds of mushrooms. I have also had several of the cooked rolls: Jazz roll, Dragon Roll, and Lobster roll and they were all well presented and tasted fresh and magnificent. Tonight I tried the Kare Udon, minced chicken curry dish with veggies, and it was a whole lot of magnificent flavors packed in. This soup is almost like a stew. There is a bit if a kick and then also a tad of sweetness. The Udon noodles were perfectly cooked and went so well with the dish. Loved it! Service was quick and friendly. While I am so pleased with their take out, I look forward to dining in soon to try some new items. ”

“ Found this as a mid point to meet my favorite boy and his new babe and yelp did not disappoint! First off, let's begin with the charming staff! Super sweet, super patient, and super accommodating. We started off with a few appetizers that being the tuna tartare and the salmon tartar along with the garlic.Edaname and some rice appetizer. All were absolutely exquisite... Between presentation, taste, portion, we really enjoyed them. We really grazed through these and took some time before ordering our main entrées and the waitress was exceptionally patient with that. She kept on checking in every so often to see if we were OK and if we want to add on and finally, we added five specialty rolls. Unfortunately, at the time of delivery, my phone had died, and I was unable to take pictures. But the roles were dynamic! My son told his GF that I always find great food spots and I do generally thanks to yelp reviews, and I generally read certain peoples reviews that I tended to agree with in the past. This place did not disappoint. If you like fresh sushi,great ingredients and doting customer service, then this place is for you. I look forward to coming back.! ”

“ This is THE best sushi takeout in Bridgeport/Fairfield area. They stopped hosting diners inside - it's takeout only - but it seems to be a great business model for them. Every time I go there are 1 or 2 other people also picking up food. The fish quality surpasses any other that I've found in this area. And the prices are lower! Usually when I get sushi I don't feel full because it's too expensive. Not here - I always get absolutely stuffed! Because the prices are so good! I highly recommend the following order: 2 orders salmon sashimi 2 orders yellowtail sashimi 1 order mackerel sashimi 1 salmon avocado roll 1 side of sushi rice I just wish they'd open the dining room again because I love this place ”
